High Point is also home to High Point University, a liberal arts college that was ranked as 1st for comprehensive colleges in the South by the 2013 US News and World Report’s “America’s Best Colleges.”
Other famous locations and attractions in High Point include the John H. Adams House, the Bernice Bienenstock Furniture Library, Castle McCulloch, the Rosetta C. Baldwin Museum, the Piedmont Environmental Center, and the North Carolina Shakespeare Festival.
High Point is primarily located in Guilford County, with portions of the city spilling into Forsyth, Davidson, and Randolph counties.
